I'm a primary school teacher and will enoy showing my class (who are all locals and can't imagine snow) the pictures of where I live during our weather topic.

Incidentally, one of my housemates went snowboarding on the continent - he needn't have gone, although he might have found the public transport situation in Brighton a trifle problematic. Apparently, the snow was at its deepest on the South Downs. Although the snow had melted in the city, on Wednesday, I could see the snow-capped Downs from places like Elm Grove and the London Road Viaduct.
